Franchesca+Rashard, Pardee Rose Garden Elopement

Franchesca & Rashard are the real deal you guys. When we first met over coffee, we chatted about how they met one another and their journey to saying "I do". As they shared with me, I could tell their love for one another was deep. Not because of any particular story they told, or phrase they said - but because of the ease and comfort shared between them. Like the way you feel when you put on your favorite sweatshirt, or that warm feeling you get when you sink in the couch after a long day. They're home to one another, and that shared feeling made photographing their day so special.

These two chose to have an elopement style wedding at a local rose garden with their immediate family. Their ceremony was short and sweet, and as we snuck off to take photos, guest snacked on light appetizers and drinks.  I loved the intimacy of their small wedding, and the freedom of schedule they chose to provide for the day.  Franchesca & Rashard chose to make their photographs the main emphasis of the day and set aside a large amount of time to take their portraits. We explored the park's greenhouses, cherry blossom grove and graciously stumbled upon on the most beautiful weeping willow tree, tucked away in the back corner of the property. It was such a sweet afternoon.Later that evening the group went out to a local restaurant to celebrate the days events.
