I'm Gina Johnson, a portrait photographer from Connecticut. You can usually find me with a coffee in one hand and a book or camera in the other. My family is made up of my husband Rob and our two sweet boys, James & Robbie. Rob and I were college sweethearts, and have been together for twenty one years, married for twelve of them! We spend a lot of time laughing together, navigating parenthood and tend to buy way too many things off of Facebook Market Place. When I’m not behind the camera I can be found spending time with friends and family. Everything in my closet is grey, black or white - and I love my jean jacket. I’m loud when I laugh, and I may or may not be obsessed with buffalo chicken & Killing Eve.

My philosophy is to keep things simple. You won’t find me lugging a plethora of equipment or props to your session. I believe that natural light and an environment that is welcoming and engaging allows for beautiful photographs. Your photos should reflect who you are, and I am here to make that happen.
